Crafted from high mountain Ash solids and some select plywood, the Outback collection is sturdy and stylish. The timbers are mill cut to give each piece an aged and distressed appearance. The warm chestnut finish is complemented by the natural imperfections of knots, cracks and blemishes. Each piece is unique and full of rustic charm. The Mission style non-swivel stools have gently curved backs and wood seats. The counter height table has stout, square legs, a wine rack and shelf. The table is large enough to seat 6 comfortably. Distressing is the process of making light indentations in the wood and making 'worm holes'. Antiquing is the process of rubbing off the paint mostly around the edges to give it a worn appearance. Both processes are done by hand to give the piece the look of an old family heirloom.
