POLYWOOD is the originator of the recycled outdoor furnishings category, pioneering the recycled adirondack in 1990. Not only did they create the category, they’ve had over 26 years to refine the designs, processes, and stand by their 20-year product warranty. They’re unique in that our entire manufacturing process has remained in-house, which allows them to create consistent, high-quality products. All POLYWOOD Furniture
is made-to-order in the USA and assembled, packaged, and shipped to customers doorsteps, with 99.9% accuracy, within days of receiving an order.
POLYWOOD lumber is created from a proprietary blend of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastics (think milk jugs and detergent bottles) which is one of the easiest plastics to recycle (and can be recycled again and again). This allows them to recycle over 99% of our post-industrial material back into the manufacturing line. Any aluminum they use is also forever recyclable, even the sewing department recycles all of fabric scraps through the “Recycle My Sunbrella” program.
