Designed by Jean Prouve in 1934 and now reproduced to exacting standards, the Standard Chair is one of the most collectible modern chairs. A combination of durability and practicality, the chair is simply classic and timeless. Powder-coated sheet steel and round steel frame. Seat and backrest in untreated oak or oak with dark stain, varnished for natural wood effect.

Chair frame includes an integrated handle for easy movement and stacking. Sculpted wood armcaps of teak add contrast and warmth. Leg endcaps provide protection from marring and scratching of surfaces. Durable stainless steel powder coated frames resist weathering.
