| This wall clock is hand carved from cold cast bronze, which has a real layer of bronze, especially formulated to bond to strong composition. It will develop a natural patina over time just as any bronze metal might. This is both indoor and outdoor design; it can be a welcome addition indoors, as well as for use outside in potting sheds, on porches, decks and in backyards and gardens. This clock is made with the best movement in the industry, the manufacturer also go one-step further by having the movement covered by a styrene casement for additional weather resistance. It requires one AA battery, which can be bought anywhere and will last approximately one year before needing to be replaced. The gold tone hand is made of solid aluminum which will not rust, the hands has also a special sheet metal versus the usual gauge that other manufacturers might typically use. This ensures that Hen-Feathers clocks will last longer and stay beautiful season after season.
