This low-voltage recessed housing is UL listed for use where insulation is kept at least 3" from housing. A thermal protector safeguards against overheating caused by improper insulating and overlamping. The housing is removable for easy access to the junction box. The junction box features snap-on covers, pry-out knockouts, riveted ground wire, through branch circuit wiring, 2-in and 2-out 12 wires. It includes mounting clips, an adjustable transformer support bracket, and an integral magnetic transformer for years of trouble-free operation.
