A simple, subtle design, similar to our Double Cross Shoji room divider, but with a kick plate at the bottom, and an open space at the top. Ideal for use where foot traffic might scuff the shade, and where less than a 71” shade is preferable. Top space has no rice paper, it is completely open. Crafted from durable, lightweight Scandinavian Spruce, using Asian style mortise tenon joinery. Shade is strong; fiber reinforced pressed pulp rice paper- allows diffused light, yet provides privacy. Lacquered brass, two-way hinges mean you can bend the panels in either direction. Each panel measures approx. 72” tall x 17.5” wide x .75" thick. 3 panel screen (as shown) measures approx. 53” wide flat, Approx. 45” wide with panels folded to stand upright.
