The Egg Chair was designed in 1958 for the lobby and reception areas at the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. Arne Jacobsen distinguished the Egg Chair by his omission of any straight lines in its design-only curves. The Egg Chair has gone on to be one of Jacobsen's most enduring furniture designs. Like the original, this reproduction is made using a fiberglass frame covered with leather upholstered, with rocking function.
