Rated 5 out of 5 by from Minka-Aire Supra 44 fan The fan is a nice upgrade from what I had before. It is bigger, and I was able to get a better light kit with an extra bulb. Also, I now have both a remote and a wall switch so that I don't have to use the pull switch on the fan itself to control each part. The pull switch for the light broke on my last one after 15 years, which is what pushed me to get a new fan. The new fan is a very stylish addition to my living room, and is a fairly low cost investment that adds extra lighting on dark winter days and cools the room in the summer. My home work space is also in the living room, so the new fan is a major investment in my quality of life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MinkaAire Supra 44 Ceiling Fan This is the second MinkaAire Supra I have installed in our home. This is a 44" while the other is a 52". They are attractive, very well made, and very quiet at low speed (especially important for a bedroom installation). Neither required balancing, even though a balancing kit is included. Their larger, more powerful motors can move a lot of air at higher speeds. Note the 14 degree pitch of the blades vs. 11 degrees for cheaper fans with smaller motors. LightingDirect had the best price and there were absolutely no issues or problems with the order or delivery of the fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Ceiling Fan This is the second MinkaAire Supra 44 we've purchased for our home. It is a terrific fan, very high quality, lifetime warranty, super ez install, almost ZERO noise when on and it makes a great breeze depending on how much you want...we use ours on low with the wood stove to circulate the heat, and it does a great job. But also, it looks really sleek. Not too modern and not too traditional, just a really great basic fan at a super price. You won't be disappointed.
