Use another control switch
Fan is good, the fan switch however is poorly designed. There are two levers on the switch, one controls the light, the other controls the fan. If you push the light level to the top the light is a full brightness; the fan operates just the opposite. The lever for the fan starts out on high and when you push it up it is slow. Fully bright level position should match full fan speed level position, not the opposite.

MinkaAire products are wonderful.
This is the 3rd and smallest Minka fan I’ve installed. Beautiful finish, easy installation and soooooo amazingly quiet like our others. My only complaint is that unlike our larger fans, this comes with an analog slide dimmer instead of the digital touch pad. The switch is clunky, stiff, aesthetically unpleasant and when turned from off to high, causes the recessed lights in the room to dim momentarily.

First Disappointment with Minka
Firstly it is the first Minka that is very noisy. It's in our sunroom so it's tolerable but I would not recommend this fan due to the noise. Also we could not use the wall switch so we ordered a remote module for this fan but it only controls 3 of the 4 speeds the fan is capable of if used with the wall switch. I may repalce it again with a better unit.

Cool Fan
Overall pretty happy with the fan. It looks great! My only issue is it has a slight noise and we really wanted a silent one. It definitely could be installer error (we DIY’ed) but we followed the directions. Great price and looks great, just don’t know if I could fully recommend for a master bedroom.

I'm a fan!
This was a great purchase. Love the modern look - clean, sharp lines, and great size for a 700 sq ft loft apartment. Wall control is easy and the four speeds offer a good mix of options. An electrician installed it so I can't speak to ease of install. Very happy with this product!

ORB fan - we love it!
This is the second one of these fans we’ve bought. We have one at our lake cabin that we loved, so we decided to buy one for our living room at home too. At the cabin it’s installed using the longer downrod and at home installed without the downrod…both work and look great!

We love them. We bought 2 one for our screen porch and the other to replace on the sun porch. The fan is absolutely the right look and performs beautifully. Our neighbor came over and saw them and said order me one. I love it and want to replace what she had in her home!

Modern, stylish and a little noisy
It's a very good fan - stylish and reasonably quiet. We have them all over our home. They do start making a little clicking noise after about a year, so we were disappointed that they don't stay as quiet as they start out, especially for what they cost.
