This Three-Light Vanity Fixture needs to be hardwired. Shades can be mounted either facing upward or downward.

SOHO 60/4583 bci1949140 Bellacor Number: 701256 can this fixture be inverted so the globes hang down. Also, how bright a white is a satin white?

I would not invert.  Glass is heavy and the openings wide.  More elgant looking when bulbs and inside of glass are not visible to the eye.   Visible bulbs take away from the beauty of this fixture.  The glass color is white, not off white.
