Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nicer than Picture! We just put this fan up and love the look of it more than we ever thought. Our finish is the brushed nickel with silver blades, and it's very sleek and modern. It looks expensive and not too industrial for our modern house and blue stone fireplace. A few inches bigger than our old one, we are pleased with the air flow, too. I think the 1 demerit comes from the remote needed to operate the fan. There's a delayed reaction to start/stop/reverse direction, so you stand there waiting and wondering whether to push the button again. I wish it operated from a wall switch. We are going to screw the remote holder (included) into the wall, as not to lose it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed in under six months I bought two for a living room and one has completely failed with a bad motor and the other makes a clicking noise that developed within three months. As of this review, manufacturer has failed to even return email. The fit and finish is wonderful. The actual usability is abysmal at this point. Very disappointed.
