is it compatible with and adjustable bed frame

Thanks for reaching out to us. Most of the adjustable beds will fit inside the complete bed frame based on the inside dimensions. But in regards to the headboard(only) not sure if that can be attached to the adjustable bed frame. If the headboard (only) is not free-standing, it would need to be applied with a wall unit (separate support) that the customer would need to purchase and apply to the wall.

what are the inside dimensions of the frame? so I know what size adjustable bed I should order that will fit into the bed framework.

Is the wood finish a dark grey?
