Vagabond House is American designed tableware that uses only the highest quality materials. As a classic symbol of strength and stability the oak leaf motif is commonly found in classic art and design. We are not the first to bring the oak leaf and acorn pattern to the table, but our rendering is both new and exquisite. Our carved leaves, acorns and pine cones move around the edges of these cake stands, replacing an garnish and adding classic beauty to the table. Because of the pewter‘s patina and the clean porcelain they aren‘t too opulent to use anytime and the acorns and leaves add a natural humility making them as versatile as they are lovely. Vagabond pewter will tarnish very slowly and requires little maintenance. To clean your pewter after use, hand wash in warm water using liquid dish soap. Dry the pewter completely in order to prevent the water droplets from spotting the pewter. If you wish to polish your pewter, most metal polishes can be used. Because pewter is a soft metal, mildly abrasive metal polishing creams can buff out scratches and bring luster back to a frequently used piece.
