WE DESIGN FOR THE LAMP SOURCE

AFX’s products create design elements for a variety of lighting applications.

LEDs (Light-Emitting Diodes) combine long life (50,000 hours +), low heat, and low energy consumption with a very compact, flexible size. LED technology advances bring new efficiency to fixtures, allowing smaller lighting designs and lower maintenance.

Medium Base (E26) socket fixtures offer the flexability of multiple light sources from LED to Incandescent screw in type bulbs.

WE ARE COMPLIANT WITH ALL ENERGY CODES

Title 20 Regulates appliances sold in the state of California and clearly defines a very specific scope of state-regulated appliances. Applicable to individual products such as lamps (bulbs), portable luminaires

Title 24 Building code standards for all new construction in the state of California. Applicable to buildings, not individual products. Mandatory for new construction and remodels (all permits). Enforced by inspectors. Differing requirements for Non-Residential and Residential construction. Some Residential construction requires light sources that have been listed and registered with the state to prove high efficacy (JA8 listed)
