The color looks more of a bronze to me rather than grey, is it as shown in photo Also I would want to put this over a kitchen table, would it give enough lighting , there will also be another light over my island, kitchen is approx. 14" w. by 16" L.

The item has a Nordic Grey finish. The fixture dimension is 16 Inch Width x 8.75 Inch Height and can use 100 Watt light bulb so it would quite a bit of light.
