I have 10ft ceilings. Will this fixture hang low enough for my 36inch high island ? Can it be extended to lower? And if so, how?

Thank you for reaching out to us. The ceiling measurement is taken from the floor up however if you deduct the height of the island and the 30-36 inch above that which is the standard for a fixture to be above an island, you should not have to lower the fixture.
