Can a wall control be used, is the light dimmable and can it be operated separately from the fan?

We suggest to have an electrician wire an off brand wall control, lights are dimmable if you use dimmable bulbs with the same base not more than 40 w, it comes with the incandescent 3-40 w Candelabra style, The fan has functions to dim for both up and down light from the remote. Electrician would have to advise if he can wire the off brand will control to use dimmer.
