Our Lutyens Benches were inspired by the original Thakeham seat, designed at the turn of the last century by British architectural icon, Edwin Lutyens, for the garden at Little Thakeham, West Sussex, England. This perennial bench design has never faded and we now consider it a garden classic. We offer the 4 foot bench, in three finish options, White, Black and Natural Oil. We also offer a 5 foot bench in Natural Oil finish. All of our Achla Designs casual patio and garden furniture is made from Eucalyptus grandis wood that is sustainably harvested. It is finished with a natural oil finish or painted with a glossy UV-resistant polyurethane-based paint.
