It’s really hard to find a simple floor lamp like this. I didn’t want this to be an eye catching piece but more a subtle form of light in the corner of the room. This is a perfect, modern and sleek floor lamp. To make it more modern looking I’d prefer a white shade, the linen/natural beige tone wasn't really what I thought I was getting. Brightech should consider giving customers the option of shade color in the future. I’m working on trying to get a white shade because I’m the photos it looks white, but it’s definitely not white. Overall, I recommend.

Its a good reading light and comes with a great on/off floor switch. I didn't pay attention to the reviews warning that it leans. My mistake! It does lean way too much and it looks bad in my living room area because it isnt straight. I have banished it to the spare room as a reading light but Im not fully satisfied with this purchase

Very Happy With This Lamp
This is the second Brightech lamp I've purchased and both have exceeded expectations.
The Montage works perfectly behind our couch. We did not have any trouble getting it to stand straight after some adjustment to the bottom attachment. I appreciate that others mentioned the shade is tan as opposed white. Fortunately the tan works in our room but if I had been expecting white like the photos I would have been disappointed. That said, the shade packaging, assembly and design is brilliant. What a smart way to ship a typically large sized item. I will definitely continue to shop Brightech for our future lighting needs.

Nice Lamp but the shade is not good quality
I love the lamp but the shade that had to be put together is very cheap looking. I have tried to find a replacement shade but it's not easy to find one with the European fitting to fit it. Any help would be appreciated.

I was looking for a floor lamp exactly like this one. The drum shade is big and is an ideal reading light for the sofa. The contemporary styling blends in with all decor styles. The customer service team are great too. The first model I received had been damaged in transit, and they immediately sent a substitute. Will buy more from this lighting company in future

Love this lamp!
Bought this for our nursery and absolutely love it! The floor click on/off is extremely convenient and I think it’s the perfect accent for the room. It comes with a lightbulb and the light is soft but bright. Very happy with this purchase.

Sleek lamp but doesn't stand up straight
After I tightened the nut on the base of the lamp, it still wouldn’t stand up fully straight. Enough for me to want to return it honestly. Also, the shade looks really cheap when you get up close and notice it’s just rolled and snapped into place. Lastly, the switch being on the wire means you can’t really have the lamp near a couch with wires behind the couch because you won’t be able to turn on your lamp LOL
