Does it come with a base plate?

YES it has a base plate. Also I felt it wasnt "gold enough" and painted the entire thing (I have 3 as pendants) with a more goldish paint.

How close can this be mounted to the ceiling? Like does it have something to mount it flush? Thanks

My light did not come with a flush mount kit.  However, if you remove all of the chain(except maybe one link) and mount it from "o" ring to "o" ring, the distance from ceiling to the top of the light would only be about 7inches.  Hope this helps!

18 inch, 4 light Ellis, brushed gold chandelier...is it dimmable? Are the wall sconces dimmable? Thank you.

The light fixture itself is dimmable, but we had a bit of a hard time finding light bulbs that could be fully exposed, were LED, and were dimmable. We really like the light fixture though!

Bought this Light and I love it  but I expected it to be a brighter Gold.   I want to paint it  like sort of Gold Leaf Paint.   Any suggestions.  PLEASE       I sort of wanted it to match my cabinet handles.    Please advise.

This Pendant features a Brushed Gold finish. The Manufacturer hasn't suggested any painting instructions for the product.
