What does "light assembly" for this chest mean? Exactly what has to be assembled on it? Is the chest particle board or real wood?
Not particle board. Good wood. Comes in panels; 4 sides, base and top. I really should order another, we love ours.

This chest does require some light assembly and there is no any tray inside. This chest comes with soft hinges.
