Want to install a ceiling fan on my porch.Can the Ellington by Craftmade Cavalier Aged Bronze Outdoor Ceiling Fan 10.5" down rod be replaced for a low profile (hugger)? If so, where to purchase with instructions? Also, what is the length of the blades?

Yes the down rod we cut shorter.  Blades are approx 21".  I love this fan-very heavy and very substantial!

Can you reverse the direction the blades are turning with the wall control?

What is the height if using the shorter down rod?

The 10" -inch downrod is the shortest downrod available for the Ceiling fan and the overall height of the fan is 26.5" -inch. The Blade to Ceiling height will be 16.5" -inch.
