Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two fans used outdoors. Purchased two fans for outdoors (covered lanai). The fans were installed with only one issue - user error maybe. The wing bolts are install with the wings of the bolts on the side of the fan you can see when sitting down. Our first try we installed the bolts with the wings facing the ceiling - it did not look as nice. Other than that - we had no install issues. The lights are perfect in my lanai. I am hoping they last a very long time.

Q & A

What’s the maximum extension rod can be used?

This fan comes included with a 6" downrods. All our downrods are 1/2" diameter; with holes for the pin on both ends, but threaded only on one end. You can always go longer than what the fan comes with, just not shorter. The longest downrod length we have is 72", #DR72ESP. If you need to go even longer, you can use a coupler, #COUPLER-ESP to connect two downrods together. Downrod part number for this fan is #DR(length)ESP.
