How are these puck lights mounted? Do they require cutting into the base of the kitchen cabinets in order to be mounted underneath? Can these lights be directly powered to house power or do they require some kind of converter.
Thank you for choosing Dals. This is a recessed only puck which entails cutting holes under the cabinets. If you wish to power directly from the wall switch you will need a separate driver not included in the kit. You would need a DALS Dimmable LED Hardwire Driver. To select the proper driver for the project take the amount of pucks needed and multiply by the Watts they each consume. The total will be the amount of watts total for the project. Choose the driver which will accommodate the Watts needed.

What is the transformed voltage for these lights 12v or 24v? The reason I ask is because if 12v I can simply unplug my old lights and plug these in without doing any finish carpentry to the cabinet.
This Puck Light Kit works on 12 Volt.
