Attractive, reasonably priced, and very brightWe just installed a pair of these as the main lights in our bedroom. They were inexpensive, they look nice on the wall, and they feel just as solid as some of our more expensive sconces and flushmounts elsewhere in our home (from companies like Artemide and Illuminating Experiences). Most importantly, with the ability to install two strong bulbs in each fixture, they give off way more light than the vast majority of sconces of this size, including much more expensive ones from higher end companies.
We like our lights at home to have a warmer (yellower) tint, so we are using these sconces with 72W Philips halogen bulbs that have a 2780K color temperature (model 457366). With a Lutron DVCL-153P dimmer, at full blast they light up the room very brightly, and they dim down to almost nothing, making them excellent for the bedroom where we want a wide dimming range.
I also tried a couple of different LED bulbs in them, but they didn't have nearly the dimming range of the halogens. If you don't use a dimmer, or don't care about dimming super low, however, dimmable LED bulbs will be much more energy efficient than the halogens. Just make sure you are buying A19 sized bulbs, as A21 bulbs are a little too big to fit behind the glass shades of these sconces (I tried).
