Hello kat77, yes you can order additional 12" rods using model # 9199-962. Hello Julie, no this doesn't have a photocell. You can search for an optional photocell accessory or the Sea Gull Yorktown Collection offers some fixtures with integrated sensors. The model #'s have a "P" in them.
