HUGE Disappointment
We special ordered (code for non-returnable) this fixture through the local lighing specialist, that works with our builder, for a high end half bath. It should have been an eye-catcher but instead it is an eye-sore. What you can't see in the picture is that the light sockets behind the shade are a cheap black plastic and have lamp type switches protruding from the sides of the sockets. These are VERY visible when the light is mounted on the wall. In addition, the recepticles on the shade do not slide all of the way down onto the socket so the shade doesn't sit properly on the fixture. I'm stuck with it for now and will be totally embarrased to have my guests use the bathroom until I can replace it. It was the first George Kovacs fixture I've ever purchased and it will probably be my last.

perfectly finishes off our bedroom
I ordered 2 of these sconces in bronze. People were saying the lightbulbs stick up over the lampshade and that they look very unfinished when looking at them from underneath. This is not the case for us. I am thrilled with these sconces. They put out great light and look just beautiful on our walls. My girlfriend is thinking about getting some for her bedroom.

Great customer svc and beautiful lighting
WIthout hesitation I would recommend LightingDirect. Their customer service is fast and efficient. The fixture was awesome - one small idea would be for the manufacturer to place all piping seams at the back of shade along with the main seam at the corner, thus allowing the front of the shade to remain flawless.

Nice lamps
Installed four of these in my family room about a month ago.
I got Oil Rubbed Bronze color, so the switch on bulb holder is not visible since it is Black. But if it were Nickel, I am sure switch would be visible.
Lamp shade is nice too. Overall, happy with the product.

Elegant and Beautiful
This lamp arrived very quickly, well packaged, and even more beautiful than the picture. I purchased two of them for a room that I wasn't sure what decor I was putting in and it turned out ot be a great move. It's modern and sleek and gives a bright warm light.

Consider carefully
This fixture needs to be installed at eye-level. The sockets are switched and the finish does not match the bronze of the metal work, thus, unsightly when viewed from below.
