Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality, assembly required.... The order took nearly two months to arrive granted it was during the holidays to be completely transparent. Surprisingly, this piece need to be assembled and although it wasn't difficult the fit of the top specifically was poor and care should be exercised as a screw that holds the top on will poke into the top creating a bump. I was able to back off on the screw and minimize the damage. Its not worth the effort to return but I do not recommend this purchase.

So, does this unit have 4 separate storage cabinet/openings? From the assembly directions, it appears that each pair of doors opens to one storage cabinet. (I’m asking specifically because I have some large platters that may be too wide for this unit)

No, this White Cabinet does come with 2 storage, 2 adjustable shelves & 4 doors. 2 doors opens to one storage cabinet.

How wide is the opening of each door? Do they open to 4 smaller sections or 2 bigger sections? I can’t find a photo of it opened anywhere.

Approx. 13 1/2". Yes, each door(4) is hinged and opens. Hope that helps :)
