upgrade replacement
This replaces a fan/light combo that was installed around 1980. Although this is a bit smaller, it moves air better than the larger old one at low speed. Quiet. Closer to the bedroom ceiling makes the bedroom look bigger. Although my older home was rewired a few years ago, a trusted local electrician modified the mounting box and took a few minutes to install in for me. A few health problems slow me down at my age, so it was more sensible to have a young guy just do it

Stylish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently installed this Hunter Crestfield fan in our bedroom. Installation was a breeze for my husband, he actually said it was one of the easiest ceiling fans he’d ever put up. We got it in the white color but flipped the blades to the wood color. It looks great and was an easy and inexpensive way to update the space. The fan is very quiet and seems very stable. I trust that it will last for many years to come. I would recommend this fan to anyone!

Compact design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy with the Crestfield fan. It is a nice size and LED lighting is great. I found that the installation was easy to follow. The box includes everything you need. It includes 3 LED bulbs, all mounting screws etc. The fan size overall if fine for my bedroom. The speeds are easy to set with a pull of the fan chain. The lights are bright and easy to install as well. The fan is quiet too.

Installation Issue
We bought this fan to update the look in our hearth room. Replaced an older fan that was not a "ceiling hugger". Put up the mounting bracket, installed the motor and wired it up. Then I could not get the housing over the bracket. Bracket was about 1/16" in wider than the housing. After trying to bend bracket with no success, I had to remove everything and take down the bracket. Took a Channellock to the bracket to bend it in far enough to slip the housing over it. Re-mounted bracket, motor, wired it, and housing slipped over it, but needed a magnetic screwdriver to get the screws inserted into bracket. Instructions were good. Necessary screws clearly identified in manual. Fan looks great.

Light kit doesn't work
Well, since you asked, I am disappointed in my new fan. The light kit doesn't work. We've tested everything except individual wires now to discover why. That's next. The fan works fine, but no juice gets to the kit, so none of the three lights work. I need the light more than the fan, so I hope this can be resolved. It's too expensive to send back, so I'll just dump it and buy another brand if it can't be fixed with one more try.

Eye-catching!

It matches perfectly with the nautical theme we have and it is not noisy at all. It gives off just enough light and isn’t too bright. We love it!

Wow stylish and quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love this Crestfield Low Profile fan it is perfect for my dinning area, the low profile is awesome and it is so quiet you wouldn't even know its on if you didn't feel the wonderful breeze, very stylish not too sure about the glass but that can be changed and it even came with light bulbs amazing set up was easy as well.
