Description
- Juno IC1 4 inch incandescent housing is energy-efficient and built for new construction or ceilings with access from above. It can be completely covered with insulation and vertically adjusts to accommodate up to a 1.75-inch ceiling thickness. The bar hangers may be re-positioned 90 degrees. A thermal protector ensures automatic shutdown if improper bulb wattage is used.
- Juno 4 inch Mini new construction incandescent housing is IC-rated which allows housing to be completely covered with insulation
- IC Air-Loc housing and all Juno 4' trims comply with IECC and other state Energy Codes
- Pre Installed Air-Loc gasket from factory stops the movement of air, in or out, reducing heating and cooling costs
- Can be used with trims that support these lamp bases: A19, R14, R16, R20, PAR16 and PAR20. See spec sheet for complete list of compatible trims
- Wet Location Approved ONLY when used with trims # 14 and 17 and with outdoor rated lamps (light bulbs)
- Wet location approved for covered ceiling applications when used with Juno Trims 11, 12, 4101, 4102 and 4181
- 24” expansion stop allows quick placement of fixture in standard grid spacing
- Inner housing is vertically adjustable to accommodate up to a 1.75 inch ceiling thickness
- Pre-wired junction box with six 1/2-inch and one 3/4-inch knockouts with pry-out slots, 4 non-metallic sheathed cable connectors, and ground wire
- Torsion spring adapter (4TSA) and GU10 Socket Whip (GU10-WHIP) are sold separately

Just what we needed for our remodel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I recently bought a home that needed some updating. The house was build a few decades ago and all the light fixtures were original. So when we took down the old outdated light fixtures in the basement we decided to go with recessed lighting since the ceilings were lower than the upstairs part of the house. This was exactly what we needed for the new lights and it was easy to install in the ceiling and then mount our can lights from it. Great quality product with strong metal not cheap or flimsy feeling. Definitely recommend if you're looking to upgrade to recessed lighting.

Excellent Housing light!

The best feature is the energy-efficient, Air-Loc sealed double wall construction housing which means it stops infiltration and exfiltration of air with all trims, reducing heating and cooling costs. The mounting brackets are expandable up to 25" so it's perfect for any size. Top quality construction and built to last. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

Great Recessed Housing!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Juno brand 4in. new construction IC Rated T24 Recessed Housing is great! It has fully adjustable sliding mounting rails. So, it will fit in between any span of ceiling joists. And the box itself, slides on those rails, which makes getting the light receptacle in the exact right place a breeze! I would definitely recommend installing these in your new build or even a remodel!!

High Quality Downlighting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything seemed to be of good quality. Construction is fairly basic, all aluminum and no socket needed with the hardwired light systems. The outside housing felt warm but at all hot with lights on for an hour. Shipping was as expected and for the price of each fixture, these seem to be a good value.

Easy to Install

Great quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GreT box for tailoring your recession lighting. Brackets are adjustable. Ideal for new construction but will work for older if your willing to cut into ceiling. Can be used for lighting or adding a ceiling fan. Pretty easy and basically something you have to have. Good product!

Good design

The legs expand and allow the box to settle where it is needed. It is very light weight but seems quite sturdy. Overall a good product.
