The brushed stainless finish is very high end and adds to the beauty of the fan. I would have been able to install this fan on my own if I had not needed an electrician to add electrical hook up. The size is perfect for a smaller bedroom and the hang distance is great for lower ceilings. The dome over the lighting helps to soften light. Fan offers great airflow and is very quiet. Once installed the unit is extremely sturdy and doesn't shake at the base with high speed. Would highly recommend to others.

It gives the perfect pick me up to my livingroom area. Before installing the living room space seemed dark and the old fixture didnt seem to be as cooling as the new fan. The amount of bright light put out is exactly what we needed in our home. Talk about an upgrade, easy installation in under an hour included the removal of an old fixture. This fan now give my living room the bright ambiance I have been wishing for. I already plan to get a second matching fixture for my dining area!!

My living room is quite small, but the size of the down rod lets it hang at the perfect height. This fan is quiet when on and provides great air flow. Lighting has always been an issue in this room, but the led lighting is bright and luminous, adding a beautiful ambience to the room. Installation couldn't have been easier, the directions were easy to follow, and I was able to install this fan by myself in about half an hour. The lighting is dimmable which is always a plus. The beautiful black satin finish makes this ceiling fan a perfect addition for almost any style and decor.

When I opened the box I was very pleasantly surprised much better than what I expected. Attention was paid to details for instance the screws in the canopy have a cover to hide them. The type of mounting bracket makes it easy to mount unlike the ones with a hook to hang on while you wire then inaccessible after mounted. What fan manufactures do not tell you is these fans work even better in small rooms, great in laundry, bathrooms and walk in closets, they help reduce humidity, mold and mildew. The product exceeded my expectations, I give this fan high marks for value, aesthetics and ergonomics.

I am a little old fashion in the fact I am not a fan of wireless remotes. I prefer to have two switches on the wall. One for a fan and one for the light. This part of the Starkk alone made me a happy consumer. Over the years I have installed many Kichler items. Every single item has been great. This fan took a little more time to get blades attached compared to others but it came out looking great. It doesn;t wobble, or dim. The fan has three speeds. The fast speed pushes a lot of air, but the fan is still quiet and smooth. As mentioned, I have installed quiet a few Kichler fans. While this was not my favorite, it was a perfect fit for this room.

The light is bright enough for our family room, but not overwhelming. The light shade diffuses the light well. The fan was easy to install myself and is whisper quiet, even at the higher speeds. The fan self balanced without the need for me to make multiple adjustments to get it that way. Have had that problem with many of the other fans in my home. I would highly recommend this fan.

It took us about 3-1/2 hours to install because we had to climb into the attic to mount it because we were replacing an existing light fixture. We also have it worked to a switch so we don't need a remote, if that's something that's important to you you should note this does not have one. It wasn't hard to install, just took some time. If you're replacing an existing fan you're good but if you're installing this in a new space or replacing a light fixture you will need to make sure you have all of the necessary mounting and reinforcement pieces as they do not come in th box. I would like the light to be brighter, but otherwise I really like this fan!
