Can this be used inside at an oceanfront condo? I noticed it said not recommended for oceanfront use. Why?

This fan can not be used at ocean front as the salt water air is corrosive and will cause the fan to rust. The fan is not salt water applicant. If you desire a fan that is salt water, ocean front applicant, we suggest purchasing the Donaire fan. It is made of marine grade stainless steel and will not rust.
