What is the measurement from the wall to the start of the shade? I see the extension is 16.5” but I am not sure of this is to the end of the shade or the length of the arm. I need thhope start of th shade to begin at least 7” from the wall.

The length of the arm (extension) alone is 16.5 -inch.
