Bought 3 all have issues after 1 year...
The fans are stunning, and worked perfectly in the first year. At the 18 to 24 month mark all three have a host of problems. Kitchen fan: light fades to bright then shuts off. This happened within warranty, they sent me a part to replace, it worked for a month, then it happened again after it was out of warranty. Also loud creeking sounds at med & hi speeds make it really unuable at anything but the lowest setting. Living Room Fan 1: bulb cover stuck and cannot be removed in order to replace the bulb, the unit will have to be taken apart. Plus loud creeking sounds at med & hi speeds. Living Room fan 2: no longer reverses, loud creeking at hi speed. we are at year and will be replacing all three.

Love this fan!
When we built our home 2 yrs ago, I was unfamiliar with MinkaAire fans. I wanted something sleek with an integral down light & remote control, reversible, easy to clean, quiet but able to produce enough air flow even at low speeds, in an oiled bronze finish. It also had to be available in both flush mount and tiltable down rod models. I searched online for quite a while and then came across this fan. It met every requirement. And the price was affordable!! I have three in my home and have never exeperienced a problem. I love them. So, when we remodeled a house for our daughter this year, I immediately ordered the same fan in a brushed nickel finish for that application. Smart choice! Looks great!

Good quality fan with LED light.
I have another Minka Aire and liked the features so I ordered another. I needed one with a small base to attach to a narrow beam in a room with a slanted ceiling, so a wall hugger would not work. The fan has all the qualities you could ask for in a ceiling fan except the blades are a boring color. My other one is pewter with wood tone blades and looks much nicer, but it is a ceiling hugger and would not do. All in all I am happy with the fan, just wish it was prettier.

Liked the first so much, bought another.
This light/fan combo was installed in the MBR of our new home. We really liked the look, the ease of using the remote and how quiet it was. So, we bought a second unit for the Guest Room. It's easy to set up the fans on independent remotes so there is no interference. GREAT support when we called for help with the installation.

Great fan
This is a great fan. The tiny halogen lightbulb works great. The remote control works great and is also better than installing a dimmer switch etc. We have one brown and one white fan. both great.
Delivery was fast and both fans worked out of the box and had all the parts.

Great ceiling fan/light combo
I recently installed this ceiling fan in a 4-season patio room. It complements the design of the room. I chose this fan based on its design and because the light was dimmable. The remote control is a nice feature too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ease of installment was a shock as well as the movement of air they provide. Even the smallest fan cools the kitchen in August in Texas!!!! Love these fans!!

This is the quietest fan I've ever had. It fits perfectly into my kitchen--small and compact, moves a lot of air & it's easy to keep clean. Best of all, it looks great!
