Rated 4 out of 5 by Water Girl from Inconsistent love We had 8 Stainless color installed in a duplex 4 years ago. They look great in all of the rooms. For 9 ft ceilings, we used a 6" rods, 11 ft ceilings we used 12" rod. 2 of them are making a loud motor noise on the 3 slowest speeds. They are in 2 bedrooms and are so loud we need to replace them. However, the other 6 are doing great! In general, they are quiet at all speeds and provide nice circulation.

Generates alot of air movement even on the lowest of 4 settings in a 20' x 24' living room. Installed on a 9' ceiling so purchased the longer rod. Ideal if you do not want the ceiling fan to be a focal point in the room and if purpose is to distribute air nicely.

At high speed the air flow helps mask the electrical rotation noise somewhat, at low speed the noise is too loud to sleep. Previously installed the MinkaAire- Simple fan. As this is a bit more expensive but well worth it. Wish we could return these.

The low speed on this fan is still fast, it’s off balance on high, and makes a whistling sound which is bothersome at night when the fan is most needed.

Have tried to adjust the fan a few times and even had them replaced after speaking to MinkaAire support. Replaced fans have the same issue. Would not buy this product. Will lhave to replace soon with a another brand.

Completely satisfied with this unit and would do it again. Agree with one review comment that the wall control could be more effectively designed, but no qualms as is, works fine.

It's not too loud unless you have it on top speed and then it's just windy really. It disappears into the decor of our room. Wish they made this exact fan with a light.

Had it professionally installed, but on lowest setting there is repetitive cyclical sound that sounds a little like a far away car alarm. Super irritating while sleeping.
