Quite Fan
Quite, Stylish, Easily Installed- We purchased this fan because our previous one was too noisy to have on while sleeping. This exceded my expectations in every way. The 6 speeds DC motor allows ultimate control and is almost inaudible on level 1 which you wouldn’t know its on if it weren’t for the breeze it puts out. From level 2 on you only hear the blades moving the air and it can move lots of air at level 6. The longer blades are well balanced and fan base doesn't wobble during operation. I highly recommend this fan for anyone looking for something quite and stylish.

Beautiful, quiet, moves air
I read a lot of comment people saying this unit doesn’t move air very well and that you have to have in max speed to feel it.
I’m glad I didn’t pay attention to those comments.
Having this in its lowest speed provide a gently breeze that you definitely can feel. It’s is absolutely great just to have this running all the time in its lowest speed.
Those people either have it way too high in the vaulted ceilings (ie they didn’t buy the appropriate down rod… or they have it reversed - pulling air up).
Quiet! There’s no humming noise like most fans… at any of the speed level. The only noise you hear is the swishing of the blades at the highest speed.
I am so happy I went this unit. Highly recommend it.

Big fan but falls short.
The remote is very glitchy and switching speeds requires the fan to stop then start. If you want quick changing speeds you will be unhappy, but if you leave it on one speed you will like it. I wish I bought the larger size. Good fan but wish I could have found a better alternative with similar looks and volume. I may put it in a smaller space and search for a better replacement.

Great Fan!
This fan is beautiful and really finishes our screened porch area! I'm so pleased it has worked out so well. We had an electrician install for us and he also had high praise for the quality of this fan and the ease of installation (the same can't be said for other fixtures he's installed for me!). Highly recommend this product for look and functionality.

Not a fan...
I bought two fans two years ago and as of now replaced both. Replaced the first fan that went out with the same fan and now it’s not working. All fans replaced for the same reason. Scrapping sound as the fan tries to get up to speed. If you use your fan often and don’t want to replace. Find another fan. Pay more now and save money in the long run.

Xtreme H2O 65 moves a lot of air!
I have this fan in my 20 ft ceiling living room (utilizing 72" downrod) - it is fabulous. This fan does a terrific job moving the air (initially I was hesitant as the blade pitch seemed less-than ideal -- however, that is not an issue). It has lots of speed options as well. I highly recommend this Minka product.

I liked this fan so much I bought it twice!
This MinkaAire Extreme is a fantastic fan: attractive, quiet and versatile speeds. We bought one for a home we later sold, and bought another one for our new home. The brushed nickel one is very modern looking. I highly recommend it for any large living area with 10’+ ceilings.

Great modern fan!
We put this fan in our own remodel. We love it so far. We have approx 20’ ceilings and purchased the 5’ extension rod. It’s perfect. This fan will blow you away if you need it to and you can turn it low for just the right amount of circulation, as well.
