Super easy to install this elegant beauty
I went with the largest reasonably affordable fan for our bedroom. Our criteria was a quiet fan that spun slowly since this was directly over our bed. Excellent choice. The fan is silent and moves plenty of air since we tend to sleep hot. The fan looks great with the nice chrome accent pieces. We're thrilled with MinkaAire and decided on reviews nd another smaller MinkaAire that's in our family room. That fan has been installed for a almost two years without a single issue, so I'm sold on the quality of these units.

Don't waste your money
Produces no air very disappointed. We put 6 in open shop and 2 more in 4 the bay all 8 on high and you can't feel any air moving. Build said nothing they can do because we installed and manufacturer said they wouldn't do anything because the fans were spinning so that meant they were working. Now we're buying a different fan from someone else where 1 fan will
outproduce all of them.

I bought this fan for our back patio because of positive airflow reviews. However I am disappointed in the amount of airflow. Even when sitting right under the fan I don't feel the amount of air movement that I expected. I called MinkaAire to discuss and they believe that the fan is working the way it was designed. I'm still trying to find a fan with more power and rpm's.

Would not buy this again
This fan lasted about 1.5 years in a covered/screened porch with an insulated roof Started making a grinding noise
Was told it was a receiver - which made no sense - and Minka wouldn’t cover under the warranty Even though it was still under warranty
It’s not the receiver - now it’s grinding and squeaking and it won’t go over the 2nd speed adjustment

This Fan Is Weak and doesn’t move much air.
The fan is extremely weak. The blades move slowly even when it’s on the fastest setting and barely noticeable air movement even when standing directly under the fan. Don’t wast your money. Shame on you Mika-aire for producing such a weak and expensive product. This fan is worthless. The only thing extreme about it is the price. Stay away. Buy anything except this one.

Best Outdoor fan
had tried several Ceiling fans for our north facing patio on a hill.None so far withstood the wind .After replacing 2 sets of hanging ceiling fans for an 14 foot ceiling ,finally found the MinkaAire -Xtreme .would have given it 5 stars except you have to run it at Max speed to feel the Breeze and keep the bugs away.Look great .would recommend this product

BEAUTIFUL and FUNCTIONAL!!!
This is an absolutely beautiful fan! The motor size is small and looks VERY classy! Used an 18" downrod. Can feel the slight air movement when the fan is on low setting, on higher setting it REALLY moves the air. Beyond happy with this purchase!

Great large outdoor room fan!
We love this large outdoor fan! It has a modern look to the blades and really moves the air with all the speed selections. We use the reverse setting as well to lift up smoke from the nearby BBQ. The light is very bright when you need it.
