Adds interest above fireplace
The sconces are on bead board above a newly installed gas fireplace with built ins. The brushed nickel plate behind the white glass shades breaks up all the white. The nickel band that runs horizontally adds a clean line. When the lights are on, they cast a soft, golden light through the glass and a wide beam of whiter light above the glass. The pair compliments the glow of the fireplace. I was somewhat disappointed that the glass shades are not exactly the same (which is also a good thing as they don't look cookie-cutter machine made). One has a slightly straighter edge on top than the other one does, but it is so slight I doubt anyone but me will notice. Just something to be considered if buying a pair.

The price is good, but the quality is not. The photo and description make it seem rustic. There is no texture. The 'rustic look' is painted on - you can see streaks. Designed in USA/Made in China

color not as expected
I ordered the Iron Oxide to try to match the dark terra cotta tile on the floor. The picture appears to have more rust color. They arrived today but the color looks nothing like the picture. It is more like a really dark brown or black. Not at all what I expected. I really like the style of the fixture, but not thrilled with the color. Trying to decide whether to return them because the color does not look like the picture on the website.

Very nice product.
I was surprised when I opened the box to get the fixture out to put it up. It was heavier than I thought it would be. The finish is nice and the construction was better than expected. It was easy to install and looked real good on the wall. Great light for the price. Used in a commercial application and I beleive it is better than larger name brand fixtures that I have installed over the years.

Great Sconce, Quality, service
Initial shipment was received with damage to the back plate and the glass piece in front was shattered...Lighting Direct immediately sent a replacement. They offer some of the best customer service I have ever seen.
The sconce is high quality, very heavy stainless steel back plate and nice thick glass. With a standard CFL bulb provides plenty of light for our small hallway about 15'x4'

Very chic!
I received my two sconces yesterday. They are so very chic! They are very well made and I think they are even more attractive in person. I can't believe how quickly they arrived. I placed the order on Sunday night before bedtime and they were at my door when I got home from work on Wednesday. What a great piece for a great price.

Gorgeous lighting
We purchased these a couple of days ago for our basement to use in conjunction with overhead recessed lights and not only did they get here super fast, but the quality exceeded my expectations. We have them on a dimmer switch with 60W bulbs and they are just perfect.

online shopping has built in drawbacks
The product itself is fine. The shipping service is fine. The only problem with shopping online is that one must wait to see how the item actually looks. Then when it is decided that one's taste has changed for this item, it must be returned. Darn.
