Since this is an incandescent fixture, a standard dimmer switch on the wall is all that would be need in order to make the light dimmable, correct?

Thanks for reaching out to us. As long as a dimmable bulb is used with the fixture, we recommend an ELV dimmer is used, there should be no issues.
