Love these fixtures
I purchased five fixtures for my front door, garage entrance, and back of house to replace old brass fixtures. These were the perfect look for my house and had just the right touch of brass to go with my brass door handle set. They can use LED bulbs, which was a must, so I don't anticipate ever having to deal with changing bulbs again. They were easy to install, although I did pay an electrician to do it for me. The only negative is that they came packaged with the glass pieces inserted, and some were chipped. But Bellacor replaced those (and more) immediately, so it wasn't a problem. (Several were packaged much better than the others).

Hello - the measurement of 7.5 wide, is that the total width? Seems odd if the backplate is 6 inches. Thanks
7.5 is the width of the glass, widest point. The back plate needs 6 inches of wall, the globe/glass needs 7.5 of “free space” as in a door swinging open.

Has anyone had problems with bugs and dust getting inside, since the bottom is open?
Not at all! I have two of these under a covered porch, and two that are exposed. No problems after several seasons. They are easy to clean if they get dirty, but I haven't had to do much.

The Norwell Old Colony Outdoor Wall Mount comes in a 9.5 Inches Wide sizing only in the Copper finish. Please check out the Bellacor Number: 348964 for the larger width wall mount fixture.

I am interested in the Norwell Old Colony Black Outdoor Wall Mount Bellacor Number: 349003. The candelabra bulbs it calls for are 60 watt. Can I increase the lumens by using an LED bulb that does not exced 60 wats?
I am not a lighting expert, but I purchased 5 of these fixtures and use LED 7 watt (60 watt equivalent) 3000k outdoor rated bulbs, and they look and work great. I doubt I will ever have to replace them in my lifetime, and I'm happy to be using much less energy.
