I have this light in a room that has 10 foot ceiling.  How low should it hang?

This Fixture comes supplied with a 4 ft length of chain. It recommended to hang Pendant at least 7 feet above the ground in living rooms and entryways with standard 8-foot ceilings, and hang them around 8 feet high with taller ceilings.
