What is the shade made of?

It’s like a super-stiff cardboard (like a paper shade but not flimsy), with a fabric-like overlay, and seam-tape binding around the top and bottom edges. It is not shiny. More of a matte, fabric-looking appearance. Mine is installed on a white (Sherwin- Williams “Alabaster”) wall and I’m pleased with its unobtrusive, clean look.
