We get lots of compliments, but I must add the only downfall was that it only comes with the 6 inch downrod and we had to wait awhile before it could be hung as we waited for a longer to get delivered.

Is a remote control an option for this fan?  And does it come with a wall control?  I'm curious how you control speed and direction.

Not sure about remote control, but wall control yes. It has 6 speed settings, reverse button and an optional light control button on it.
