Can you please confirm the measurements of this fixture? Is the 17" height listed when the arm is fully extended or is that just the height from the bottom of the mounting cover to the top of the middle joint?

The overall extension would be 33.75 inches and the length of the stem connected with the base measures 17 inches.

Is the light a true oil rubbed bronze color or a bit black?

It is definitely more black than oil rubbed. We purchased 6 of these to go above our bookcases. They aren’t installed yet but I think they will go beautifully with our other oil rubbed bronze fixtures.

Does the light articulate up/down and right/left?

This light will articulate up/down and extends out from the wall. Does not swing right/left.

Does this fixture have switch on it, or does it rely on a wall switch?

It relies on a wall switch. However we were able to take our to a local lighting company and have a switch added for about $20 per fixture.
