Q & A
We want to use this as a reading light over each side of the bed. Does this lamp articulate side to side and are you able to rotate the shade? Thanks
Yes Each joint has a ball and knob that allow the light to be manipulated into position. The shade also has the moveable joint. I have a couple of them for sale as well.

Can this light be used as a pendant?
No, it cannot be used as a pendant.

If hard wired, will there be a hole on bottom of base that is visible?
There is no hole on the bottom when the light is hardwired. I have 2 lamps I’m selling that were installed but we’re too big for the space that I’m selling for 100.00 each

For clarification to my previous question: will there be a visible hole at the bottom of the wall mount plate if I hard-wire it? Meaning if I don’t use the plug-in feature with cord, do you still see the hole where the cord would otherwise come out?
Yes, there will be a visible hole at the bottom of the wall mount plate if hardwired this One-Light Sconce. For additional imaging option, please contact Bellacor Customer Care by phone at 1-877-723-5522 or email.

Does this sconce dim? I see what looks like a knob on the mounting plate
No, it does not dim. The knob is an on/off switch.

Does this light have a on/off switch on the back plate for hardwiring into an electrical box that doesn't connect to a wall switch? Thanks!
Warm Brass One-Light Sconce does not come with On/Off switch. This fixture can be installed either hardwired or plug-in.

Can you plug this lamp in or does it have to be wired?
The Morland One-Light Sconce can be used with the included cord and plug or hardwired.

I bought this with the intention of directly mounting it to the wall and using the wall plug. My husband thinks that it still needs to be mounted to an electrical box behind the wall even though we're not wiring into the electricity. Thoughts?
I'm not an electrician, but there shouldn't be a need for a box, if you're just using the wall plug. I did hardwire mine so I had to add a box, but I wouldn't have if I was just plugging it in.
