Will this fixture withstand hail? We have had a heavy black metal fixture for over 45 years and it has only sustained one broken piece of glass in all those years.
Hello Jandrgold, this fixture is Safety Listed for Wet Locations and has a 1 year warranty. It is made of aluminium. Any harsh weather will take a toll but it would be difficult to know the threshold of severity in relation to the fixture life. The local environment will determine how the fixture will wear over time. Harsh weather conditions or coastal environments subject to salt spray will increase the deterioration of the fixture.
