NOT RECOMMENDED TO BE UP IN ANY TYPE OF BREEZE
Bought this because thought it would be perfect to block late afternoon sun in our side yard. Put it up on a calm, clear day and it kept falling over. Thought perhaps the base I bought was not heavy enough. Contacted Simply Shade to see which of the bases they sell they would recommend. They responded: "Our umbrellas are not recommended to be up in any type of breeze. Sorry for the inconvenience."

The Diameter of the pole is 1.26 Inch has a reducer to accommodate 1.5 Inch.

Does it come with the base to hold it upright and if so can it reasonably with-stand wind?

I'm interested in the Capri Deep red rectangular Market umbrella. I'd like to know if it can rotate 90 degrees to be straight up and down? Also wondering to the pole allows height adjustment or if it has to remain at 77" high? Thank you Kim
That is correct, 90 degrees to go up and down, it does not have height adjustment it will remain 77 Inches.
