Rated 5 out of 5 by from My silver lining During this past Christmas season as that last little package was delivered to my mailbox, the delivery truck ran over my mail box. I cannot say that it made me happy. On fact it is a month and eleven days later, and I am still trying to get the delivery truck to take responsibility for the damage. My last mailbox was nice, but it does not compare with my Kingston Copper Curbside mailbox with the Ashton Mailbox Post unit! This unit is made of a heavy cast aluminum and is sturdy. As I close the mailbox after getting my mail, I know it is going to stay shut. The copper colored box and shape of the post gives our property a look of distinction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Product Everything as advertised. Quality was impressive, very solid, heavy material. I read the reviews and was a little concerned the mounting bolt pattern would not match up with the base, but everything lined up perfect. Very easy to install, only warning would be make sure the concrete mix is not too thick I did not use much water so it was difficult to push the mounting base down into my mix. But once I had that in, install was very easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality product. Installation issues. Looks good. A quality product. Installation should have been easier. Used the fixture to position the mounting bolts in the concrete. Was surprised to find the mailbox did not fit over the bolts after the concrete cured. There is too much play in the fixture. Had to enlarge the holes in the mailbox base to get it to fit.

Hi, I love the mailbox, however I need to ask, do you have house numbers that can be mounted? Is the pole long on the bottom to mount in concrete? or how to I attache it to the ground? TIA,, Elliot

The overall height of the post unit is 62" -inch. The Ashland Mailbox Post Unit SPK-600 can be Surface Mounted or installed as a Direct Burial. Each is provided with mounting hardware to attach them to a new concrete pad (surface mount) and a bolt on 18" direct burial post for installation into new concrete. This Curbside Mailbox does not come with specific numbers. Please contact our Customer Care Department for the suitable Numbers available for this post box.
