what is the distance between the mounting holes, I assume they are inside the box?

Can I obtain the black victorian mailbox without the magazine rack at bottom? In white, the rack does not exist.

The Special Lite Products Company Victoria Vertical Black Mailbox does not come available without the Paper scroll option. However it can be installed with/without the paper scrolls.
