I wanted a English cottage summer look and that is what I got! The fabric is mostly polyester but with enough cotton to give it a good feel. The matelasse is substantial, for this price you usually get something that looks a bit cheesy...not so here. Super easy to put on the couch. Our love seats are pull out beds, so plenty of room to tuck in deep and the cushions sit on the couch tight, so very little re-adjusting after someone has sat on it. I am posting before and after pictures, so you can tell that there is no see through on this fabric - it is as substantial as the matelasse design. It has a bit of a smell (off gassing), but it was gone by the next day. Will have to be careful washing it - cold water and no bleach, but that is OK. Very, very happy with the shipping time. They said 10 days and it took 7 days to get to my house. I saw reviews where people had problems with ship time...I did not.
